Presentation

In addition to offer competition for all levels of drivers, the EGT Challenge Series offers an experience that is as close as possible to what a racing driver can have in real life. This is why we place great importance on the seriousness of our organization and of all those who participate. In order to help the rookie drivers climb the racing ladder, we have set up a structure that looks a lot like what is found in real life. It has been called the "Road to GT3". Drivers with no experience or with very little experience will be able to register for the EGT4 Cup Sprint Championship, in which they will drive a Porsche Cayman GT4. They will still have to manage a car of over 400hp, a great challenge for a rookie driver. When they have more experience (usually after one or two seasons), the drivers will be able to graduate to the next class and drive the GT3 cars in the EGT3 Sprint championship for the Silver drivers. Subsequently, when their pace and their "Racecraft" will be high enough, the virtual drivers will be able to participate in the main championship of our series, the EGT3 Challenge, again with the popular cars of the GT3 category.

The EGT4 Cup Sprint and EGT3 Sprint are the perfect opportunity for beginner and intermediate drivers to get familiar with auto racing and Sim Racing, these championship are reserved only for the AM and Silver drivers.

The EGT3 Challenge Championship is the premier class of our virtual racing series. The more experienced drivers are racing on the track in two distinct classes, Pro and Pro-AM. They will have to choose from brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Honda / Acura, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mclaren, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Porsche. GT3 cars are very popular all over the world because they offer cutting edge performance and always give a colorful show on the track.

Pro & Pro-AM drivers

The driver classes

Regardless of the pace on the track and the experience of a driver, we will determine his class during the pre-season ranking sessions in order to offer competition for all levels of drivers! The next ranking session is from august 20 to 28 2021.

Pro

Pro-class drivres have on average three to five years experience in Sim Racing. We recognize them by their very fast race pace on the track with an exemplary consistency, bordering on perfection.

Pro-AM drivers generally have a very good pace on the race track, but are sometimes less consistent than Pro drivers. This is generally due to a more limited experience.

Experienced driver

Silver

Silver drivers have an average of one to two years of Sim Racing experience. Their pace is therefore lower than the Pro and Pro-AM drivers and they have their own championship, the EGT3 Sprint.

Intermediate driver

AM

The AM class is reserved for drivers who are new to Sim Racing and they have their own championship, the EGT4 Cup Sprint at the wheel of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4.

As the EGT Challenge series gets bigger and bigger, it involves more expenses and management time for the organization. That's why we made the decision to charge a registration fee for the 2021 season. The basic costs of the series include, among other things, the hosting of the website, the servers costs and the broadcast of our main series.

When you take part in the EGT Challenge Series, you benefit from the following advantages:

  • Good visibility during our live broadcasts on Facebook, Youtube, Twitch and LinkedIn ( broadcasts last an average of two hours per evening x 8 races). We also have our social media channels with photos and videos.
